BRIAN CRESWELL Born in the Pottstown area, Brian expressed an early interest in building and architecture. He was an honors graduate of Owen J. Roberts H.S. During school, he had 7 years of fine arts training at the Anvil Studio and Gallery. There he worked in many media, designing his first addition and creating working drawings for it at the age of 16, under the supervision of Jon Smith. (The addition was built the following year and remains in service as gallery space for the studio). After high school, Brian attended Lehigh University for one year as an Architecture major. He left college to pursue a hands-on career in building, despite being a top student in his class. Post college, he worked for a local firm in the field of historic restorations and reproductions. There he worked in various aspects of the business, but specialized in timber framing. After spending several years there and one year in commercial construction, he began his own business. Creswell & Company was born in 1997 and has become a well-established business that melds the various interests and specialties of Brian into a cohesive company that excels in producing high quality, creative/artistic, custom designed green projects.
