This makes it the FIRST single family home in the entire state of Pennsylvania to achieve this rating. Creswell & Company is honored to be the first builder in PA to reach this level of certification within the already rigorous standards of the toughest and most distinguished green building program in the nation. We are also pleased to note that Creswell & Company has been named a 2010 finalist for the prestigious Energy Value Housing Awards by the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) Research Center. The EVHA is a U.S. Department of Energy awards program that recognizes outstanding builders who voluntarily incorporate energy efficiency into all aspects of the home building business from planning and design through construction to customer service and marketing. The Koenig residence is also featured in the forthcoming Arts & Crafts home magazine on sale December 8th at Barnes and Noble and Borders bookstores, and is part of the DVGBC green homes tour sat. Dec. 5th. Creswell & Company is currently working on several other projects: including a new home (planned for the Spring) that will be pushing for Passive House certification, making it one of the most energy efficient homes in our state and the entire nation.
